-  Join our NEW programs coming this October...Adult Daytime Crafting, Rooted in Nature, Your Dreadful Darlings, & Bingo!

- The Frankton Book Sale Returns! From Sept. 14th - 19th, all items at our book sale will be 50 cents. We only accept cash, check, or change. 

- Local author Robert Hughes will present his book "Don't Break His Spirit" on September 30th from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m.

Little Readers - 2nd and 4th Tuesday from 1:00 - 2:00 PM

Bring your little ones to the library for a fun-filled storytime designed for children ages 18 months–6 years! We’ll enjoy a favorite story together, followed by a craft or coloring activity to keep little hands busy and imaginations growing.

 

 Kids in the Kitchen - 3rd Thursday from 5:30 - 6:30 PM

Come cook up some fun at our Kids in the Kitchen program, where we create delicious dishes and enjoy hands-on kitchen adventures together. We meet on the 3rd Thursday of each month from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the library. Open to kids ages 4 to 12. Call the library to register today.

 

Mission: STEM Possible - 3rd Monday from 1:00 - 2:00 PM

Join our kids STEM program to explore, create, and discover! This program will be a fun, hands-on STEM program for kids ages 5–15. We’ll explore exciting activities in science, technology, engineering, and math through experiments, challenges, building projects, and more. Come curious, get creative, and have fun learning something new! All supplies is provided making registration required for this program. To register call or come to the library.

 

Teen Game Night - 2nd Friday from 3:30 - 5:00 PM

Join Taylor Blake with Alternatives Inc. for fun board games and conversation. She will be here the 2nd Friday of each month from 3:30 - 5:00 p.m. All teenagers are welcome.

 

1,000 Books Before Kindergarten

Welcome to our program for newborns and their parents/caregivers! 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten has many goals and positive outcomes. This programs involves: bonding with your child, educating a rising generation, and so much more! Who can participate? Any child from birth until they enter kindergarten!

Ways to read 1,000 books: 1/night for 3 years, 10/week for 2 years, or 20/week for 1 year.

Overbooked: An Adult Book Club - Every Wednesday from 9:30 - 10:30 am

Adults age 18 and over are invited to join us at the Frankton Library for open book discussions. This group meets every other Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. to discuss two monthly selections. 

 

Writer's Group - 2nd and 4th Tuesday from 9:30 - 10:30 am

This group for adults meets every 2nd & 4th Tuesday of the month from 9:30am - 10:30am. A relaxed and supportive space for new or experienced writers. 

 

The Social Stacks - 2nd and 4th Monday from 1:00 - 2:00 PM

Socialize, play games, explore your creativity, learn something new or just take a break from the hustle and bustle of the holidays at the Frankton Community Library every 2nd and 4th Monday of each month from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.  *Registration required*

 

Rooted In Nature - 4th Monday from 5:30 - 6:30 PM

Each program explores practical gardening and/or homesteading tips, inspiring ideas, a deeper appreciation for growing, nurturing, and living in harmony with the natural world. Meetings take place on the fourth Monday of each month from 5:30 - 6:30 PM. Registration is required. Call to sign-up today!

 

Adult Craft Night - 4th Tuesday from 5:00 - 7:00 PM

Join us for Adult Craft Night at the Frankton Library on the 4th Tuesday of each month from 5:00 - 7:00. p.m. This program is primarily for adults 18 and over. All supplies are provided making registration required to attend this program. 

 

All About Euchre - 3rd Tuesday from 5:30 - 7:00 PM

Ready to shuffle, deal, and show off your best card-playing skills? Join us for an evening of friendly competition, clever strategy, and plenty of laughs at Euchre Night! Whether you’re a seasoned Euchre player or just looking to meet fellow card enthusiasts, come enjoy a fun night of cards and community. Call to register today. 

 

Adult Genealogy - 4th Friday from 3:00 - 5:00 PM

Curious about where your family came from? Join us for Adult Genealogy and learn how to uncover the stories, people, and places that make up your family history. Whether you’re just getting started or already have a family tree underway, we’ll explore helpful resources and tips for researching your roots and navigating your family history.

 

Your Dreadful Darlings - 2nd and 4th Thursday from 5:30 - 6:30 PM

Something wicked is coming to the Frankton Library...Introducing "Your Dreadful Darlings". An Adult Dark Romance Book Club. If morally gray, forbidden romance, obsession, villains, and questionable decisions are your thing...then Darling, you're invited! Meetings will take place on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. Must be 18+ to register. Call the library today to register!.

First Book - Lights Out by Navessa Allen

 

Daytime Crafting - 3rd Thursday from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Take a creative break and join us for Daytime Adult Crafting at the Frankton Library! Spend a relaxing morning crafting, chatting, and connecting with fellow crafters while trying something new. We'll meet the 3rd Thursday of every month from 10 AM–12 PM. All supplies are provided making registration required.

Check, Check, Bingo! - 2nd Monday of each month from 5:30 - 7:00 PM

Looking for a fun way to spend your Monday evening? Join us for Bingo Night at the library! Bring a friend, enjoy some laughs, and see if your lucky numbers are on your side. It’s a relaxed evening of bingo, prizes, and good company...and you never know who might shout “BINGO!” first! Ages 15 and older are welcome. Call to register today.

 

Stephen Jackson Presents - *Coming up...October 6th - "Three Lives Well Lived"*

Discover Madison County's past from our local historian Stephen Jackson at the Frankton Library. Come learn and discuss on the first Tuesday of every month at 6:00pm.  All ages are welcome. Refreshments provided!
