Frankton Branch Manager

The North Madison County Library System is seeking a professional to fill the branch manager position at the Frankton Community Library. The best candidate for this position  will have good interpersonal skills, a heart for service, and be detail oriented. We are looking for someone who is prepared to lead the branch consisting of three part-time clerks and part-time custodian.  This library is located in Frankton, Indiana a city with a population of approximately 2,000, and is a branch of the North Madison County Public Library System.    

Education Requirements  

An associate degree or 60 college credit hours and a Library Certificate 5 are required for this position. Consideration will be given to a candidate with library experience and an associate degree who only requires the three library courses to obtain the Library Certificate 5.  A minimum of one year’s professional supervisory experience is desired.   

Wages  

This is a 40 hour per week position with evenings and weekends as needed.  The wage range for this position is $15 to $25.00 per hour. Previous library experience will be considered.    

Benefits  

Health insurance through UnitedHealthcare is available.  The employee is responsible for 10% of the health insurance premium. Automatic enrollment into INPRS (Indiana Public Retirement System).    

Vacation and personal time after one year. Sick leave accumulates after one full month.
